Slow economy hinders iPod sales

Last Tuesday when Apple held their fourth quarter conference call, they mentioned that although sales of the iPod have slowed down or declined in recent weeks, Apple still seems intent on staying strong in sales. The declining sales of the iPod, according to iPod Blog, can be attributed to the declining economy. People have been trying to save their money instead of buying products from Apple, or any other company for that matter. With fears of a recession, investors have also been weary of investing in Apple. But Apple assured investors that Apple has nothing to worry about and that they will remain strong for the holiday season.
