I was having a conversation with a friend of mine who wants to start his own website selling custom plush toys. He was interested in what I had to say since I sort of make a part-time living writing content for web pages. So I asked him what he knew about search engine optimisation, or SEO. His response told me all I needed to know. He was silent. After I gave a brief rundown of what SEO is, I asked him a few questions about who he thought his target market would be for his products. His answer was a bit more thorough so I knew we at least had a starting point.
