Multi-Vitamins Are Needed Sports Supplements

So…what is in a multi-vitamin and do they really work as effectively as the advertisements say ? The answer is equivocal. Few do and most don’t. The thing about supplements is that most of them work in the course of digestion only. The problem is that all kinds of cellular activity is going on after the digestive process. Unless the supplement is made in such a way that the body can use it at the cellular level, the remaining vitamins/supplements are excreted by the body as waste products following digestion. 

Some vitamins and sports supplements contain live active enzymes as part of their formulas. This means that when the vitamins meet up with the cells’ wall, they are allowed in to the cell and not turned away. They are transported within the cell itself and utilized for several different functions such as cell repair.

When looking to improve your overall health, increase energy levels, repair damaged body tissues, a daily vitamin and mineral supplement is part of the program, be you the average couch potato or the professional athlete.
