How Can I Surprise You With Colts Tickets If You Expect Them?

I never felt I was able to have any leverage with my husband whenever we had any discussions so that he knew I was serious.  Then, one year I got my husband Colts Tickets for our anniversary and I jokingly informed him that the tickets were negotiable for future presents.  How surprising for me when he would refer to that when we were in disagreement about something!  I told him I had not been  serious, but he always laughs and says that he understands he is putting his tickets in jeopardy by disagreeing with me.  I should surprise him one year and have his parents get him the tickets instead of me
