The popular TV series on American television today comes from Colombia. It is quite funny considering that the South American country is not particularly a friendly country to the U.S. Ugly Betty was first produced in Colombia in 1999 as Betty la Fea. It tells about modern-day fairytale about a comely-looking office assistant who gets to work with the man of her dreams. The problem is, again, she is not pretty enough.Securing the financial matters of boss Armando is the main job description of Betty is to. But sometimes, she has to do other jobs such as buying realtor lock box in the hardware. Betty doesn’t mind much though as she loves to be constantly around Armando. We would find out later that Armando develops a thing for Betty.
