My mom is in her seventies, and is in poor health. We were talking about dying recently, and she was giving me a list of items to distribute to other family members. I could not believe it. My mom the shrewd business woman did not have a will. My family is close, and I really don’t think we will have family disputes over money, but you never know. I told my mom she needs to start writing a will right away. She was a little hesitant, but after fifteen minutes weighing the pros and cons she agreed. I feel a lot better knowing she has a valid will.
