I do not know who invented it, but does it matters? The most important thing about coffee makers I guess is to brew great coffee right? So, I do not know why there are folks out there that are so bent on finding the history behind coffee makers. But, just for information, I think there are quite a few contenders in this area, Bunn website says that they are the first to introduce the drip filter coffee maker, melitta says they are the one that invent the filter paper. So, these 2 companies probably can lay claim to coffee makers invention…
