Our Original Bathroom

If I had to describe our original bathroom to you, and you had never seen it before, then you probably wouldn’t believe me. Surely you’d think that I was kidding. The walls had pink and white striped wallpaper. And there was a pink, flowery wallpaper border along the top. The tiles on the wall and in the shower area had been painted white. The tub was my favorite item of all though. It was one of those pink cast iron bathtubs that was popular during the time our house was built. Everything had to go. We tore everything out and found new flooring, new cabinets, a new sink and a new cast iron bathtub.
