My grandpa has heart disease. What is heart disease? Does it mean that his heart is diseased? Does it mean that he has a disorder or a condition that affects his heart? I know he has never had a heart attack, but I know that he takes a lot of medications for his heart condition. Are there different disorders and conditions that fall into the category of heart disease? Or, are there specific requirements for a person to be diagnosed as having heart disease? Since my grandpa has it, is there a chance that I will have heart disease too?
