I love to try new things, and beverages are no exception to the rule. Whether it’s beer, juice, or wine, I will try almost anything. That’s probably why I had such a good time last summer going on the San Francisco wine tours. We went through several wineries, both large and small, and got to try a lot of different vintages. They also gave us a great tool to use to help keep track of which wines we loved and which ones were better left to other palates. Because I have a hard time remembering my favorites, I was really excited about it!

Stapleton Real Estate - An Overview
August 23rd, 2008 — Travel
The planned community of Stapleton real estate is just a ten-minute drive from downtown Denver and in here – you’ll witness a new kind of urban development. Back then, before it was remodeled into a residential lot – it was an old airfield: the Stapleton International Airport. It was in 2001 that Stapleton developers began the 15-year project of reclaiming and recycling the land to create a vibrant suburban community. Plotted with tree-lined streets, parks, traditional architecture and front porches – the Stapleton real estate is indeed very much accessible and as some put it – “walkable.” Thirty percent of the community’s 47K acres are dedicated green space and with most homes less than a ten minute walk from shops, schools and offices, there are plenty of places to go. If you plan to transfer in this lovely place, your options range from a low $100k town homes all the way to $1m estates.

Although some western men deny the fact that they’re attracted to Asian women, truth be said – most guys find them particularly alluring. Perhaps it is safe to say that Asian women today are gradually becoming the choice among men. With exotic and captivating looks, plus an Asian lady’s air of mystery – it comes not a surprise that almost any guy can fall head over heels for her. But here’s the challenge: Asian brides interested in developing a relationship with a man are not so easy to find as there are so many bachelors seeking to find an Asian female companion, but the local population may not be as filled with potential candidates as one may hope (a traditional demand and supply dilemma). It is for this reason that you should try the Internet in you quest to find that Asian lady that you can fall in love with. The Internet is the one place where you can find interaction opportunities with women half way around the world.

Auther Guiness
August 18th, 2008 — Travel
One of Dublin’s most famous citizens and the reason many people visit Dublin is Arther Guinness. Arthur stated an Irish tradition in 1759 when he brewed his first ales for public sale. Since then the dark ruby brew has attracted untold tourists to the cheap hotels in Dublin. Tourists flock to see his brewery in much the same manner as the nitrogen bubbles race to the top of a glass of stout. It is almost as if they are under pressure to get there and have a rich creamy experience. Many have tasted Guinness in their own countries and want to see where it originated.
Save on hotel rooms by staying near the airport
August 14th, 2008 — Travel
There are cost effective ways to find lower hotel rates for business trips.
If you are willing to stay in a hotel that is closest to the airport, you will save more money than if you had booked at the same hotel in a location near the city or business district. This is really convenient if the city has a convenient public transit system, such as Chicago, Atlanta or New York. The transit system in each of these cities is convenient to the airport and downtown business districts which eliminate the need to rent a car or pay for cab fare.

The ocean blue
August 12th, 2008 — Travel
I have been a sailer now for the last ten years. There is nothing I like doing than sailing across the open sea and finding new pieces of land to explore. Much of what I’ve seen over the past few years has involved northern america, down to the islands. This past year on a voyage I discovered the Bali private villas. It’s a resort that is top notch. It was so good that I ended up staying there for over two weeks. The service was good, and the location was unbeatable. I will definitely be passing on this trip idea to my parents.
Memo13:Barcelona

I work in Barcelona in the very last office in a long hallway that was painted in an oatmeal tan shade, said to induce a feeling of calm. I am a research scientist for a top secret military project code named Mongoose. It is also known as the Muscle Asylum Project. It was founded by a branch of the government that I am not allowed to mention. Lets just say they do not like to bring a lot of attention to themselves. The projects main purpose is to create what have come to be called super soldiers. Basically muscle enhancement and things of that sort.
Cesar Manrique

Not everybody thinks of strenuous mountain biking across an arid and difficult landscape as a holiday. If the thought of abseiling down a rock face and mountain climbing has you quivering in your seat, Lanzarote has something to offer those ‘culture vultures’ among you, too! You can’t drive too far on the island in your faithful Lanzarote rental car without the name of Cesar Manrique presenting itself. A twentieth century architect and artist, Manrique, born and raised on the island, produced many stunning buildings and sculptures that can be seen today all over Lanzarote. Top Cesar Manrique visitor attractions include Mirador del Rio, the Fundacion Cesar Manrique, Jameos del Agua, El Diablo at Timanfaya National Park and many more besides. He is to Lanzarote what Antoni Gaudi is to Barcelona and Salvador Dali is to Spain. It seems at almost every turn there is yet another celebration of great Lanzarote artist Manrique’s life and works. If an artist yourself, you will be particularly interested in the Foundation which has promoted the arts on the island ever since Manrique’s death in 1992. Here you will enjoy a collection of works by a wide variety of today’s artists as well as ones from yesterday’s including Picasso and Miro.
Book on Disney World Savings
August 8th, 2008 — Travel
Donna and I have decided to take a vacation during the holidays and our first choice is Disney World. Neither of us have been their before, which would make it a special trip for both of us. The only problem with booking a vacation like this is trying to figure out where the best deals are. Sure there is the main Disney reservation line, but do they really offer the cheapest rates? To help us find answers to questions like these I picked up the Disney World Savings Guide online. I was a little skeptical as to how much I would learn from it, but I have to say that there are a lot of great tips. I would definitely recommend it to others planning an Orlando getaway.
Word Etiquette When Traveling To New Zealand
August 8th, 2008 — Travel
New Zealand is a gorgeous place. It is wild and filled with beauty of all kinds. One can tell that there has been a lot of volcanic activity in the past. Like travel to any foreign land, it is a good idea to learn some of the peculiarities of language.
Though New Zealanders speak English, some of their words mean very different things than we would expect. So you might want to get in the mode and learn a few things before you actually get there. As a side note, You can always count on staff who work at the many motels in Lake Taupo to help you out. They are friendly and gracious.
For those who love to eat, the word “entree” means an appetizer, not the main course. “Lemonade” means 7UP which translates into fizzy water with lemon. Lastly, a “kiwi” is a bird found in New Zealand. If you are looking for the fruit, that is called a kiwifruit.
There will be terms that don’t seem to apply from your point of view. This will be a learning experience for everyone and a good way to start a conversation with a new person. This too might bear fruit !
London Luxury Cheap?
August 8th, 2008 — Travel
Maybe you’re after cheap London hotels, and you’re wondering just how much you can get for your money. Can you get luxury for a cheap price as well? How about a four-star hotel for about $350 a night? Granted, a few hundred dollars is far from pocket change, but if you are willing and able to pay a bit more for your stay, $350 is not a bad deal for the upper-level service and comfort you will receive. Keep in mind that this is the price for accommodations that will give your stay in this fine city more than a touch of the class and sophistication that will complement your London travel experience so well.
