My first job out of college was working for some accountants in my home town. This job taught me everything I needed to know about ledger sheets and profit and loss statements. Just everything that I ever wanted to know about tax laws and business and personal finance. The job was invaluable to me and it allowed me to increase my knowledge to the point where I felt comfortable enough to have my own small business. Working at an accountant’s office taught me that I had a mind for money and it gave me the confidence to go out there and make a name for myself.
