Taking the time to find an overlooked treasure

Have you ever taken the time to really look at the things you have in your home. We all of those things that we purchased and know have zero value. I’m talking about those things you have collected over the years from either family members or friends that have been “put away” maybe because they didn’t fit your decor or maybe because you didn’t like the way the looked. I have a big closet in my basement for such things and it has been years since I have taken the time to rummage through the stuff in there. To my surprise I could not believe I had overlooked treasures hiding in that closet. I found bit of my heritage, my youth, things that made me smile and remember a simpler time.
