Make sure you choose the right business directory

Be sure to do your homework before signing up with just any online business directory.  While there are many reputable companies that will provide stellar service, as with any online business one must be aware of potential scams.  Be sure to seek customer reviews of the business directory and look for possible free trails before giving out any credit card information.  Some online business directories offer free services, but they typically get less traffic, although not always.  Most importantly, make sure that the business directory that you choose has achieved a good ranking on the major search engines (Google, Yahoo, etc) and gets lots of traffic every month.
