Business Training and Brainstorming

Always great fun brainstorming sessions are great for getting delegates minds working and always provide a lively start to a business training event.  But its important that the brainstorming sessions are conducted without any delegate feeling left out or inferior.  The first rule of brainstorming should be that ‘all ideas are welcome’.  Nothing is out of bounds, nothing is off the wall and nothing is invalid.  The essence of brainstorming is to encourage free thought without any idea being subjected to ridicule from either the trainer or other delegates.  Equally important is that delegates are not forced to contribute until they are ready to do so.  No ideas doesn’t mean a poor performance that should be rebuked.
