Sweetening the Deal

I’ve watched enough TV commercials to understand that there are a lot of insurance companies out there who want my business. I finally decided it was just a good idea to do some shopping around for the cheapest auto insurance I could find. When I actually did locate a better deal for my vehicles, I called up my current insurance agent to tell him that I was making a switch. He was horrified as he watched his commission slipping away. He called me right back in a few minutes, offering a package similar to the new one I had chosen. He also threw in a couple of little extras to sweeten the deal. I guess I’ll stick with him a while longer.
