If you are wary that your car might have car paint damage. You should always clean the damaged spots to remove any residue from wax, repellents, car cleaner, etc. To do this, take a clean cloth and moisten it with alcohol or multi-purpose thinner and carefully rub the affected area with it. Afterwards, wipe the area with a dry cloth to remove the dissolved substances. Don’t use acetone, nail polish remover or similar substances as they could damage the paint!
