Diana Frances Spencer, was married to Charles, Prince of Wales from 1981 until they divorced in 1996. During the marriage, she was known as “Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales”. After their divorce in 1996 Diana would no longer be called the Princess of Wales and also lost the resulting Royal Highness title. Most will remember her as Princess Diana or Lady Di. She’ll also be remember as a favorite target of the media and paparazzi. Hounded daily and even more so after her divorce from Prince Charles, Lady Di’s death would occur while trying to avoid the paparazzi.
